ADVANCED FOLLOW-UP COURSE for WECS 9520 CONTROLLED X-ENGINE
This Advanced Follow-up training course is aimed for
marine engineers, electrical officers and technical staff who have completed
the formal training of Operation Advanced WECS 9520 Controlled RT-Flex and X-engine,
(X82 & X92), and gained years of experience being involved directly or
indirectly in operation and supervision of the above listed WinGD X-Engine
type(s). This is taking into consideration the common engine control system
WECS 9520 for the appropriate bore segment(s).
Applicants should have completed the formal training of Operation Advanced WECS 9520 Controlled X-engine and gained a good knowledge and experience of this two-stroke low-speed diesel WECS 9520 X-Engine, and able to understand quickly the different topics in this advanced follow-up training course.
Participants will able to learn and understand clearly the WinGD’s electronically controlled engine features and to deepen their knowledge how to correctly evaluate and troubleshoot related malfunctions of different control modules/hardware and engine components.

o This engine training course is a non-mandatory course. It does however comply with/or corresponds to the selected topics of the SCTW ’95 regulations (Code), namely Table A-III/1.
